Detailed itinerary of 3 days Akagera wildlife safari and tours
Day one: transfer to Akagera national park
In the morning, you will have your relaxed breakfast from the hotel in Kigali because you must have spent your night there. You will meet your guide who will lead you, drive you through your 3-day safari, transfer you to Akagera national park, have enroute lunch around. Visit some cultural sites. In the evening, when you arrive, you can have an evening drive to spot some African wildlife like leopards, giraffes, buffalos, warthogs, waterbucks, lions, elephants and a lot more. Later, head back to the lodge for dinner and a night.
Day two: game drive in Akagera national park
In the morning after breakfast, you will head for a morning game drive to experience African wildlife species such as lions, buffaloes, leopards, elephants and a lot more in the savannas of Akagera National Park with a lot more animals. This game drive takes about 2 to 3 hours to bring you close to these beautifiers of the park. Later, you will have your lunch at the lodge and later, you can have a boat ride at Ihema lake which gives you a chance to spot many other wildlife and birds seen on the shores of the lake. Later, return to the lodge for a night and dinner.
Day three: departure
In the morning, after your breakfast, drive to Kigali through the park to see the wildlife in the morning hours, visit some local markets for some souvenirs and you will also have an enroute lunch, and later head to the airport for your flight, this marks the end of 3 days Akagera wildlife safari and tours.
