Day 1: Arrival and Transfer for COVID 19 Test
Day 1 of the great apes of rwanda, on arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you for a COVID 19 Test then later to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Hotel Chezlando
Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla trekking
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to Volcanoes National Park’s headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger enter the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours then after a while meet them and take numerous photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla trekking, transfer back to the Park headquarters for your Gorilla Trekking Certificate to keep with you. Proceed to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.
Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Wake up early, have breakfast then transfer to Volcanoes National Park’s headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around another Gorilla group in the park, then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger enter the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours then after a while meet them and take numerous photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla trekking, transfer back to the Park headquarters for your Gorilla Trekking Certificate to keep with you. Proceed to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.
Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the olden Monkeys then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger, enter the forest to track the Golden Monkeys for 2-4 hours and when you meet them take various photos to keep for memories. After Golden Monkey tracking, proceed back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.
Day 5: Fly to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Wake up have breakfast then proceed to board your flight to Nyungwe Forest National Park, then when you reach the Park, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. One and Only Nyungwe House.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking and Evening Canopy Walk in Nyungwe
On the 6th day of 10 Days Great Apes of Rwanda Tour at Budget, Wake up early to have breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Chimpanzees, then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger guide, enter the forest to track the chimpanzees for 2-4 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories. After Chimpanzee Tracking, return to headquarters for your chimpanzee tracking certificate then proceed to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. One and Only Nyungwe House.
Day 7: Waterfall Hike in Nyungwe
Wake up have breakfast then transfer on a guided nature walk/ hike to explore the Isumo waterfalls in Nyungwe Forest National Park. The waterfall is a 10.6 kilometre long circuit requiring hikers a period of 4 hours to complete following trails in the Tea Plantations. After your hike, proceed back to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. One and Only Nyungwe House.
Day 8: Fly to Kigali
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to board your flight to Kigali and when you reach here, check-in your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Mille Collines Hotel.
Day 9: COVID 19 Test and City Tour
Wake up have breakfast then transfer for a COVID 19 re departure Test then proceed on a City Tour around Kigali’s Genocide memorials, National Museums, National Market then later break off for lunch and return back to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Mille Collines Hotel.
Day 10: Departure to Kigali
On the last day of your 10 days in Rwanda, wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark on a transfer to Kigali International Airport to board your flight back home.
