On your 1 day chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest, after an early morning breakfast at 4:00 a.m., you will transfer to Budongo forest in Murchison falls national park by an English-speaking driver’s guide. The scenic drive normally takes 4 hours through the beautiful roads of Masindi and beautiful views of vegetation. Upon arrival, you are taken to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing, the hiking trails start in search of the fabulous endangered chimpanzees accompanied by ranger guides who are skilled and knowledgeable about different primates but chimpanzees generally. When found, tourists are given an hour to spend with chimpanzees learning their behaviours, feed the younger ones and jumping from tree to tree. After trekking, lunch will be served then later transferred back to Kampala.
