Detailed Itinerary of 8 Days Tarangire lake Manyara and Serengeti
Day 1: Pick up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet your destination driver guide who will welcome you to Tanzania and enlighten you on a few details of the trip. After this interaction, you will aboard your safari vehicle and along with your driver guide proceed to your hotel in Arusha where you will stay the night.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire national park and afternoon game drive
In the morning, the hotel will provide you with breakfast and a packed lunch after which you will meet your driver guide and embark on a journey to Tarangire national park. Upon arrival in Tarangire national park, you will proceed on an afternoon game drive during which you will spot a number of wildlife. After this, proceed to the lodge where dinner will be served and you will stay the night.

Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Serengeti national park
Early morning, the lodge will provide you with a tasty breakfast then you will pick up a packed lunch from the restaurant, check out of the lodge and proceed for a morning game drive. During this you will spot numerous wildlife such as lions, leopards, the rare cheetahs, large elephant herds, wildebeests, hartebeests, elands, warthogs, among others.
Later in the afternoon, you will drive out of Tarangire national park and continue to Serengeti National Park where you will stay the night.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Central Serengeti
Very early in the morning, the lodge will serve you a nourishing breakfast and provide you with a packed lunch after which you will board your safari vehicle and head out for a full day of wildlife viewing in the Central Serengeti. During this game drive you will spot a variety of wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, African buffalo, rhinoceros, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, zebras, impalas, olive baboons, pangolin, side striped jackal, slender mongoose, spotted hyena, among others. While on the game drive, you will have a stopover within the park for a picnic lunch in the afternoon before continuing on your wildlife viewing adventure.
Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge for a dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Hot air balloon safari and afternoon game drive
Wake up early morning at around 5:00 am and settle down for an early breakfast. After this, you will meet your driver guide who will take you out to the wild where you meet other tourists and embark on the hot air balloon experience. This experience will give you an opportunity to view the beautiful African sunset as well as the beauty of Serengeti from above. After this you will return to the lodge for a short rest and lunch.
In the afternoon, you will again head out with your driver guide for more wildlife viewing in the Serengeti plains.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Manyara
After a restful night, the lodge will serve you a delicious breakfast then you can check out of the lodge and embark on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara national park. Once in Lake Manyara, you will have a lunch stopover in the park after which you will go on a short afternoon game drive before continuing to the lodge where you will have dinner and stay the night.

Day 7: Half day game drive and transfer to Arusha
In the morning, after enjoying an early morning breakfast at the lodge, pick up a packed lunch and with your driver guide head out for a game drive experience in Lake Manyara national park. This game drive will last for almost the entire day and during this you will spot a variety of wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalos, zebras, impalas, warthogs, bushbucks, among others and bird species such as pink flamingos, superb starlings, and red and yellow barbets, among others.
Later in the afternoon, you will drive out of Lake Manyara national park and head to Arusha. You will arrive at your lodge in Arusha just in time for dinner. After dinner, you can take your day’s rest ahead of the next day’s flight.

Day 8: Departure
In the morning, breakfast will be served at the hotel then your driver guide will pick you up and take you to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will catch your flight to the next destination.
